The people we knew working in Danish enterprises were fascinated by AI, but couldn't figure out how to use it safely. The tools were impressive. The compliance questions were unanswered. The gap was obvious.
Three months of building, refining, and throwing away the parts that didn't work. The MVP came together — OurAI Chat, model choice, policies, and an audit foundation. It worked. More importantly, it showed us exactly what a version we'd stake the company on would have to be.
We incorporated OurAI ApS — a Danish company, under EU jurisdiction, no shortcuts. The same legal and architectural decisions we'd been designing toward from day one, now formalized.
Then we rebuilt it from scratch. The MVP proved the idea — it was never going to be the foundation. v1 kept the lessons and none of the code: the careful version of Chat, model choice, policies, and audit, built for production. We deployed it and onboarded our first customers. That's the OurAI you're looking at.
