Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how OurAI ApS (“OurAI”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this marketing website and on the OurAI product when you are signed in.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Cookies can be strictly necessary (needed to make a service work), functional (remembering preferences), analytics (measuring usage), or marketing (targeting advertising).

The marketing website

We use no cookies on this marketing website.

It is a static site that loads no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising networks, and no third-party scripts that set cookies. You can confirm this in your browser’s developer tools — the cookie jar for this site will be empty.

The signed-in product

When you sign in to the OurAI product, we use the minimum cookies required to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure:

  • Session cookie. Strictly necessary — it keeps you signed in across pages, and expires when you sign out or your session times out.
  • CSRF protection token. Strictly necessary — it protects you from cross-site request forgery attacks and lasts only for the duration of your session.
  • Preference cookie for things like theme and last-used workspace. Functional — it remembers small UI preferences so the product feels consistent across visits, and lasts up to 12 months.

These cookies are exempt from the consent requirement under the ePrivacy Directive because they are strictly necessary for a service that you, the user, have actively requested.

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, social-media cookies, or any third-party tracking inside the product. Product usage telemetry, where it exists, is aggregated server-side and is not tied to your browser cookie.

Self-hosted deployments

If your organization runs OurAI in a self-hosted deployment, the cookies above are set by your own deployment of the product — not by OurAI. OurAI receives only the billing and audit metadata defined in your contract.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookies listed above, the signed-in product will not work — you will be signed out, and we will not be able to keep your session secure.

Changes

If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary — for example, opting into a privacy-friendly analytics provider — we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before setting it.
